9) How much time do you need for photos

on the day of the wedding?

When experienced professional photographers approach your wedding day,

they have to make some logical decisions about time management in advance.

He or she will politely remind the bride and groom that cooperation

and good organization are key elements in a successful game plan.

These decisions are based on experiences from previous weddings

with the same time frame involved.

______________________________

In a perfect world, your photographer would like sixty to ninety minutes

with the bride, her family and her bridesmaids prior to the ceremony.

After the ceremony, another sixty to ninety minutes would be ideal

for pictures of the bride and groom,

their bridal party and their respective families.

You might also have to add in travel time to get from the place of the ceremony

to the park and/or the catering facility.

Special requests for extended family pictures and large group shots

should be discussed in advance and planned accordingly.

All photos taken during the cocktail hour and the reception will be candid.

There is no need for posing, unless the bride and groom

had a special request for a formal picture to be taken.
